THE EXPERIENCE

Making AI spending understandable.

Workday Flex Credits provide a shared pool of credits for eligible AI and platform capabilities. The Platform Consumption Console brings balances and usage into view, helping administrators understand consumption as adoption grows.

The design challenge is to make a financial model legible in everyday product use. A credit balance, an entitlement, and a consumption measure answer different questions. Presenting them together requires clear hierarchy and language so administrators can understand both the summary and the detail.

MY ROLE

Hands-on leadership.
Clear design ownership.

One senior/principal designer owned the product design. As Senior Manager, UX Design, I partnered closely with that designer on ambiguous decisions, attended every design critique and design review, and supported stakeholder management.

I also stayed hands-on. In many instances, I used Lovable to iterate on the prototype and give us something concrete to discuss. That partnership combined clear individual ownership with active leadership support.
