WORKDAY / DEPLOYMENT AGENT
From intent
to configuration.
Making complex setup more approachable through conversational guidance and configuration execution.

THE OPPORTUNITY
A clearer path
through deployment.
Deployment connects business requirements, configuration, security, and dependencies. My work focused on evolving the agent experience to help smaller organizations move through that complexity with greater independence.
The initiative was completed in under six months, including stakeholder alignment. That is the product delivery window, not a customer implementation time.
MY ROLE
Direction, craft,
and alignment.
One senior/principal designer owned the product design. As Senior Manager, UX Design, I partnered closely with that designer on ambiguous decisions, attended every design critique and design review, and supported stakeholder management.
I also stayed hands-on. In many instances, I used Lovable to iterate on the prototype and give us something concrete to discuss. That partnership combined clear individual ownership with active leadership support.
THE PROCESS
Design stayed close
to delivery.
Workday Sana powered the agent. We used Sana, Shuffle, Lovable, and Figma to explore and refine the experience. Design participated in deployment standups, weekly Growth, Deployment & Adoption critiques, and monthly Growth & Platform reviews.
